I think the main point that you stressed, and needs to be emphasized, is the fact that Ray Allen is the better three point shooter than Reggie Miller and not the better all around player. Although he was the go to guy on his UConn squad in the mid 90′s, his game took a different direction when he got drafted by the Bucks in 1996. His game shifted to more of a game that depended heavily on the offense around him opposed to him creating his own shot. Opposed to the college ranks, the NBA is heavily centered around the players ability to create their own shots off the dribble or the pass. That is not to take away from what Ray Ray has done. In fact, he broke the record in LESS games and LESS shot attempts than Miller. This record will be etched in stone for a while, and should not go unnoticed or be compared to other players who have/have had a better overall NBA career.

Old Dominion runs a spread offense, it’ll be rare for him to take a snap under center here too. everything is ran out of the shotgun.
